RUSHVILLE, Ind. -- Authorities seized drugs and arrested seven people from a home next to a preschool Tuesday night.

Rushville police said they began investigating after they received multiple complaints about people coming and going from the property and from people who claimed to witness drug deals in front of the house.

Additionally, police said they had been called to the property more than a dozen times before for fighting, disorderly conduct and drug-related issues.

The home is located next door to Little Stars Learning Academy on North Arthur Street.

Rushville police and Rush County deputies executed a warrant at the property and arrested 52-year-old Sheila (Moore) Love, 36-year-old Kelly Griffin, 28-year-old Tiffany Ingram, 21-year-old Loren Collins Jr., 20-year-old Hillary Love and 20-year-old Taylor Atkins at the home. They also arrested 26-year-old Mark Hillebrand Jr. nearby.

Everyone arrested is facing charges related to items found during the search, which included illegal narcotics, paraphernalia and related contraband, police said.

A 4-year-old child was also at the home when authorities conducted the search, police said.

"We have worked diligently to get to this point and we are satisfied with the outcome of our search warrant," Chief Craig Tucket said in a news release. "We will continue to pay very close attention to this property in the future to ensure this activity ceases. Curbing the drug trade in the City of Rushville is a priority to us, and it is particularly rewarding to shut down a residence like this that has truly been a public nuisance for some time."
