INDIANAPOLIS -- A U.S. Marine Corps veteran traveling through Indianapolis has been reunited with his dog after it went missing when their truck was stolen.

The man's family says they were passing through Indianapolis on their move from Illinois to Florida and had stopped to get gas when someone jumped into their truck and took off.

Their service dog, Wrigley, was in the back of the truck when it was stolen. Police later recovered the stolen truck on the city's east side but Wrigley was not inside it.

The dog was found at about 7 p.m. on Indianapolis' southeast side.
