BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. -- Three years and running could be the theme of the 2017 Camp Atterbury Community Day.

That’s because it’s almost time for the third annual event, which will feature a 5K Suicide Awareness run this year.

The event on September 16, 2017 starts at 10 am and lasts until 4 pm. The free run leaves from the barracks and starting at 8 am and all participants will get a t-shirt.

A memorial service is also scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to honor everyone who has worked at Camp Atterbury over the last 75 years. The service will be held at the outdoor museum.  And a chapel service will follow at the POW Chapel.
